Happy (late) friggin' Halloween!

We hope you guys had an epic Halloween by fighting against the living dead, eating some brains, and making confetti explode out of Spartans by slicing them with your Energy Swords! On another note, we are on the delay of making Halo: Reach Machinimas. It turns out that when we finally decided to stay on that schedule for SpaceSports, our Halo: Reach disc won't work, again. Second one this year. It's not our fault... don't judge us.

But that doesn't mean we're not going to make Machinimas, of course. Our older series, Newbies 101, a Halo 3 comedy series, will be coming back alive, at least for a short time. We'll make two episodes at least. Then, when we get a new Reach Multiplayer, either a Halo: Reach replacement copy or a Halo Anniversary copy, we'll be back on SpaceSports, Requiem, and THS Shorts.

Until then, play your copies of Halo: Reach, play Halo Anniversary when available, and enjoy 10 years of Halo.

THS News #6

So we haven't been doing much recently, and we're sorry for that. Things that should've been released by now are: SpaceSports Episode 2, Requiem Origins Part 1, A THS Short Are We There Yet?, and a little special video. As you can see, we're being lazy... again. We apologize and we can understand why you may have lost patience with us. SpaceSports Episode 2 and the special video will be released some time this week, we're thinking Thursday. We'll let ya know, on our official Facebook page, when they'll be officially up on our YouTube channel. We'll try to have Requiem Origins Part 1 released soon, and we don't know when A THS Short Are We There Yet? will be released.

Again, we apologize for being slow, late, and lazy. We'll be coming back up to speed soon. Until then, watch our other videos, like them, subscribe, follow us on Facebook, play Halo, watch Halo, whatever floats your boat, but whatever you do, have fun.

Halo 3's Four Year Anniversary

Today marks the Four Year Anniversary of Halo 3! While we did have plans of remaking Halo 3's Second Trailer/First TV Spot, it didn't work out so well. People were busy, and... well, you already know. Anyways, we plan on celebrating! Comments around all kinds of Halo Machinimas have always had to same thing said: Play Halo 3 on 9/25/11! So, we thought why not? Populations on Halo 3's online matchmaking will probably be higher than it usually is.

So come celebrate us playing Halo  3! You can find us in matchmaking, or just watch us Live-Stream on our Twitch.tv channel! Either way works and we hope you have a nice Four Year Anniversary of Halo 3!

Note that we may not be playing the entire day, as we got "real life" stuff to do, so make sure to follow our Facebook page to keep up to date.

And before we go off and celebrate, Requiem - Origins is delayed... obviously. Reason is mainly because of plans on a Halo 3 Trailer Remake. Be patient, it'll pay off.

Requiem - Season 1 Releasing Early!

Due to many, and we mean many, people saying Requiem - Season 1 should not be released so late, we are releasing it early! What we are doing actually is making 3 episodes, release them one week at a time, then a month or so later, release the next 3. This makes more people happy and much more less waiting. However, we are releasing Requiem - Origins first.

But, since we are doing that, SpaceSports, which we said would be released today, is not being released today. We are terribly sorry for this, but ask yourself, what should we do?... Also, since we are doing these episodes in 3's now, that means everyone that helped those episodes, their Gamertags will now be at the end of the third episode. So that makes them very happy.

For those too impatient, and who can blame you, this was for you. So bring your Happy Face, because you should have it.

THS News #5

Time for some TEAMHALOSWAT news! We thought since we haven't had one in quite a while, it's time for one, and the fact that we got some cool stuff to say. We have news on Requiem, news on SpaceSports, and news on THS Shorts!

First off, is Requiem. Requiem Season 1 is going slowly, very slowly. The fact that we can only really work on the online battle scenes one day every other week kinda sucks. Offline scenes we can do whenever and voice recording we can do whenever. The fact that the script is done means it wouldn't take us long if it wasn't for awesome battle scenes. So, sorry for the long delay. Season 1, if we're lucky, will be released very late this year or very early next year. Again, we're sorry for the very slow delay. However, in it's very slow place, will be SpaceSports, many THS Shorts... and Requiem Origins. We'll talk later about Requiem Origins when that time is right, which will be in the next few weeks.

Secondly, SpaceSports will now finally start to air on YouTube every other Sunday again, beginning this Sunday, so get ready for your two favorite hosts Bob Doodle and Mara Star to finally get off from vacation and start showing you Top 10 awesomesauce, ranging from the sloppy Mongoose to the realiable Gravity Hammer.

And lastly, THS Shorts will also be making a return. If you don't remember what THS Shorts are, well, let's remind ya. THS Shorts are short 2-5 minute comedy episodes that are randomly made when we feel like. An example of one of our THS Shorts is Out of Gas. Make sure to go check it out on our YouTube channel!

And that's all for now. We're starting to do more stuff, so start coming back to our Blog more often. We're not going anywhere.

Requiem - Season 1 Help

We here at THS are going to start working on our Machinima Requiem - Season 1! Now there are some (or actually a lot) where we are going to have big battle scenes. This is where you come in. If you want to help on those big battle scenes, you just have to message the Xbox LIVE Gamertag: HAL0 M4N (Note: That 0 is a zero). Your name will be wrote down and when it's time to work on an episode, we'll invite you. We will also need various voice actors for some random characters that appear during Season 1. You may not be invited on every episode if we have to many people that want to help so we'll just rotate the list for every episode.

Note that while you may want to help, there may be some requirements that you will need when you are on Xbox LIVE and helping on the big battle scenes:
1: Xbox LIVE Gold, Xbox 360, Mic, and Vanilla Halo: Reach
2: Certain armor requirements (Mostly Default)
3: At least one (if not all) Map Packs

Please try to be reliable, and by this mean, you can help most of the time and also try to be mature as possible.

As far as recording your voice to be a voice actor, you just need a microphone and a computer. When we need your voice, we'll send you the lines via Xbox LIVE message(s) from HAL0 M4N, we'll tell you a end date when you need to send it via Email, and that's it.

Please remember that while all this will be taken, recorded, made, and all that good jazz, Requiem - Season 1 episodes will ONLY be released on YouTube after all the episodes are done and your Gamertag will appear ONLY in the last episode's credits.

Time will mostly be every other Saturday at 9 p.m. EST, starting this Saturday. Machinima making may take from usually an hour to even longer. But mostly an hour, actually, maybe even shorter than that. These number thoughts are just based on how long it took to make Part 3 action scenes from the Requiem Prologue.

Requiem

Our new Machinima mini-series Requiem will not have a trailer, but Part 1 will be released tomorrow! Followed by Part 2 Wednesday, then the conclusion of the mini-series Part 3 will be released Thursday!

Now to tell you a little bit about what Requiem is: Requiem, at the moment, is a Halo Reach Machinima mini-series created by THS. It has 3 parts to it. It is about a four-man squad sent to a powerhouse to investigate why communications were lost there. As the squad arrives and finds clues as to what has happened, they find out a horde of Zombies have taken over the powerhouse. Now, they must fight for their lives and make sure none escape.

Requiem, Part 1 will be on YouTube August 2nd. Make sure to check our official Facebook page to find out when it is on, including when Parts 2 and 3 are on YouTube.

Where's Mah SpaceSports!?

Such a good question, with such a good excuse of an answer. Due to the fact we have been working on our mini-series Requiem, we haven't been able to search the File-Shares on Halo: Reach and find good gameplay and all that good jazz. We are sorry for this and know you love watching other people poop on other people's faces, but not this time.

Good news is that mini-series we've been working on, yeah, it's gonna get done soon; and what we mean by soon is like a trailer will be released either this week or the next, and the three parts will be released the weeks after that. So get exicted, we're actually doing something!

THS News #4

You guys are good, no doubt, but we triumphed in the end in the Bungie Day playlist. We only counted our wins against your wins when it was a group of four of us against you guys, and if you think that's unfair, well, too bad. The score was 26 to 18. We had a good winning streak but then you guys started coming back. But overall, we won. So, we came, we saw, and we conquered your ass! Oh yea, and we never met Bungie, as a lot of you probably didn't either. We also didn't go a full 24-Hour Marathon, which sucks, but hey, we were too tired from kicking all your guys' asses! And we're also sorry we couldn't run a full 24-Hour Marathon on our Live-Stream, which really sucked.

In other news, we are working on a Machinima mini-series called Requiem. We're not going to tell what it's about until we release a trailer for it. So, again, Newbies 101 is delayed. We're sorry. And SpaceSports won't be on this Sunday because of Bungie Day and we didn't get enough time to find good clips and record and all that jazz. Again, we're sorry.

Sunday Is The New Monday

     Did we say SpaceSports would show on every other Monday? Like this Monday? Our bads. We now mean every other Sunday. We have a couple reasons for that. First is because everything awesome happens on Sundays, and secondly because one of the voice actors we need can't record until tomorrow.
     So, get ready (again) for SpaceSports! Shown every other Sunday on YouTube!
     On other news, the scripts for Newbies 101 Season 1 are officially done. Now we just need to record. Be patient. We've got a lot of projects that we want to do this summer. It's just starting slow... like always.

     But not this Monday of course. Okay, so we haven't been working on Newbies 101 lately. Actually, that's a lie. We've been working on the scripts for all the episodes in Season 1 for Newbies 101. So, be patient on that series. Though, we wouldn't leave you hanging waiting for something from us, so we've planned on a new production.
     And it's called SpaceSports. It is not a series, mini-series, or short, but it's still a Machinima. It is something we plan on doing every other Monday. It has two hosts that show top 10 gameplay wins and fails on sports of space (Halo: Reach gametypes), such as: Grifball, Haloball, Race, Rocket Race, and more! And we get these gameplays from you, the community! We search through Halo: Reach's awesome file-share search engine to find epic gameplays of sports!
     So get ready for SpaceSports! Your top 10 for all sports in space and including news on team sports (fake teams, but pretend they're real okay?) seeing how they're doing. Just be ready for next Monday.

MLG Columbus 2011

Major League Gaming in Columbus, Ohio is tomorrow and this Saturday and some of the members here at THS are going to be there! Which is the main reason for no new episodes, shorts, or anything else by us. One of our members here (which is typing this right now, types the statuses on our Facebook page, edits the episodes, writes scripts, writes most of the ideas, and voice acts) has been practicing for this tournament's Halo: Reach FFA. So, if you want to blame anybody, it would be this guy. Unfortunatley, we don't have any apparel for THS to represent us while we're there. So, you will probably see us if you're going, but won't know it's us. Kind of sucks.


As far as Newbies 101, THS Shorts, and other productions by THS, they will be worked on after this tournament. So don't worry, we're going to work our asses off, and Summer Break is very soon for us (4 days!), so we'll have way more time to work on these. Just be a little more patient. We won't disappoint you guys...

Been a couple of weeks since new News, so here's numero dos.

We have been working on a THS Short (more about that later). This Short will be released soon. Also, Newbies 101 - Episode 2 is being delayed. Note that these episodes aren't hard to work on, it's just that we're kinda lazy. Besides, Spring Break is coming this week, so we're gonna be doing more work and less lazy.
